Collar and cuffs

The elastic and tulle you use on the collar must not be stiff, so they do not irritate the child’s neck. You can finish the cuffs with elastic or give them a wide frilly shape. The choice is yours.

Because tulle is scratchy at the neck, the collar is cut very wide so that it rests on the shoulders and does not touch the child’s neck. The body of the dress can be made from woven fabric or combed cotton.

Joins and belt
